EBS has 20 one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a full kitchen, living room, private bedroom and full bathroom. Safety cords are located in each bathroom and bedroom. In addition to the office staff, security personnel are present on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A common parlor offers space to entertain your guests or watch events with other residents on the big screen TV.

On site parking is available at no additional cost for residents.

A public computer and Wi-Fi is available.

The Congregate services package includes one hour of housekeeping services every week to help with tasks such as mopping floors, cleaning your bathroom, and vacuuming.

The EBS building was designed by Newman architects, a New Haven firm that has received 145 awards for design excellence, including six National Awards for Design Excellence and 27 Connecticut Honor Awards.

Basement Gymnasium. Designed by Dr. Loretta DiPIetro an international expert in exercise and aging, this on site facility offers space and equipment for individual and group exercise at every level.

Located adjacent to the Yale University Campus, the Dixwell-Newhallville neighborhood is a historic urban environment offering a full range of shopping and personal service businesses, as well as a library and police substation.
The city bus stops in front of our building. The 238 Dixwell Avenue bus travels from downtown New Haven to the Center of Hamden, with many shopping opportunities along the way.
